Why arent we talking about the beginning? No one gives a shit about the end. The beginning. Where did it come from? Where did the black holes come from? The galaxies? The multiverses? Nobody can explain that. NO ONE. I’m sorry but You are a buffoon if you’re an atheist.

The Bang theory is that the universe was dense and the size of a tennis ball or so. So, I ask, what can compress matter this much? Easy. A black hole. So, I think that matter goes and goes and goes into a black hole - over a long period of time. Then, when it can't take it anymore, when it's compressed to some incredible size, there's an explosion (a Big Bang) that creates another universe from the point of that explosion.
          Got tough questions?

The big bang was the beginning of the existence of space and time. Asking WHAT there WAS before the big bang implies that there was space before the existence of space for something to inhabit it, and time before the existence of time. This is like asking what is south of the south pole. Nothing.

Joe ALWAYS brings up the 'go through a black hole to enter a new universe with black holes' thing when it comes to the universe. Almost seems to me that he really wants to believe it hahaha

I really can’t comprehend how it’s possible for anything to exist or how it would be possible for nothing to exist. Even if there is a god where the fuck did he come from??

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but a black home is not something you can "go through". It's a round object that's so dense, nothing can escape it's gravity. You could be sucked into it like a piece of spaghetti, but it's not like it's an actual "hole" you could go "through". You would most likely be pulled infinitly into the center of the sphere.

Science is contained within the boundaries of controlled experiments giving repeated evidence to be accepted until proven otherwise by more experiments. Science purposely limits itself and religion is a free for all of make believe

that's just how piers operates. He says something that is carefully worded to suggest something but when analysed it appears factually true but can be twisted to mean more. anyone can agree we dont know what was before and sure theres something smarter than the human brain but he uses that to suggest theres a god without saying it. He's a master at that type craft.

No Joe. It doesn't give "proof" of anything. It's an unanswered question. The answer should be "I don't know". This is how we avoid the god of the gaps belief, and in doing so we don't hinder ourselves from eventually figuring out the answer to the things we don't know.

Newton couldn't figure out why some "wandering stars" would move in the opposite direction and he said this was where a higher power came in. If we all take Morgan's view, we would never figure out what caused the big bang and what caused whatever was before that.

The big bang might be mystical, it might be completely logical and follow natural laws. As of right now; we don't know.

Most importantly, if the universe extended infinitely into the past, we never would have arrived at today, since there would have been an infinite amount of time before today.

This notion is the limit case for credulity. In other words, if you can believe this, you can believe anything.
