@The Wrestling FanGirl first of all, wwe has lost at least half of their audience just by the virtue of having guys like him on the roster, so the people he's connecting with means nothing.
also i go by character, charisma, and mic skills as you mentioned. wrestling ability should never come first since the general public knows its fake and therefore does not care about fake fighting unless there's a reason to.
as far as his mic work goes, his promos (as of late) are just smark propaganda (ie. old timers taking the place of younger talent). anyone could cut those type of promos if they were given to them.
@A Bum In Glasses Obviously not. But it's a big indication of how much a wrestler connects with the audience and Sami always connected. Also what criteria do you want to judge sami on the basis of? In-ring skills? Mic skills? He is better than 85% of the people on the entire WWE roster at both.
