To me the biggest problem with wrestlers like Seth Rollins and the like today is the lack of over the top characters. And because this is wrestling I don't mean over the top in a bad way. Look at a guy like R Truth for instance. No matter what stupid segment they put him in or stupid title they give him, he's always over. Why? Because R Truth is a character. He's also very funny just in general but WWE fans like R Truth the character. Here's proof, if I say describe who R Truth is as a character it's easy. He's a rapper. He's kinda silly and cracks jokes. Very concrete. Now describe Seth Rollins character....who is he? Well he's a guy who calls himself an architect and wants to burn things down a lot. You see there's no character there. Who's the Undertaker? This has changed over the years but most commonly he's an undead gravedigger with seemingly supernatural powers. As silly as that sounds, it puts a picture in your head. Now, who is Roman Reigns? Well he's Samaoan and wears a tactical vest and they call him The Big Dog a lot....see again no interesting character. He's just a guy.

Look I know we live in an era of wrestling where antiquated gimmicks like the Undertaker's seem old fashioned but to me they are what makes it work. Even before he was The Game HHH was Hunter Herst Helmsley, a blue blood with a distain for the classless opponents he faced. Bring the characters back. Bray Wyatt seems to get it with his latest ginmick. Stop churning out characterless wrestlers. It's just boring.

Make him an arrogant heel that talks shit. He doesn't come across as a babyface or as a friendly guy

I think that booking has done him a major disservice with casual fans, and his comments to will ospreay did him a major disservice with hardcore fans.

Seth can go in the ring like few others but he's not a mic expert by any means. Seth was handled far better back when he rocked black and Gold. Also in his personal comments he's quite troubling. Cena had a strange way of making goofy shit work. He was low key a great asset and better wrestler than he had credit for.

Seth simply isn't entertaining. He can't convincing cut a promo and seems to be a total douche outside of the ring which isn't helping his cause.

They put him in lackluster feuds when he won the Universal Championship. A champion is only as good as the feuds he's put in. His lack of Twitter game and his... questionable promo skills also come together to put a real damper on him. At the risk of sounding cliche, they should turn him heel.

Someone needs to teach him how to sell because he cut A promo after being attacked two weeks in a row like nothing was wrong with him.

He has lost a bit of luster. Somethings off and hopefully they can turn it back around because the pops he had a couple months back are nowhere near the same now.

Seth is really drinking the Kool-Aid. Maybe he's just naturally one of those good boys who falls in line. Maybe he's just really gullible. Something happened to him when Moxley left. I don't know if that was the one guy tethering Seth to reality. Maybe someone will write a book about it one day, but something definitely changed in Seth when Jon left. Maybe it was easier for Vince to influence Rollins without Moxley around. But I'm glad Seth revealed who he really is. Thank god for Twitter. I now know who not to root for.
