The duplicates don't have a soul. How the Hell does Adelaide feel it in her that Red was planning this all along or knowing that they would have an encounter again? Hmmmmmmm.
Wait if the clones could’ve gotten out at any time since she knew the way up why didn’t the real Adelaide just leave and call the police?
What about that scene where red was talking about how she was a clone and all that shit. Really fucked the entire story line
Jason shares his first name with the killer in Friday the 13th movies and they both wear masks.
Found this interesting. It's obviously your choice, and I'm not trying to be an ass, but why the shouting?
(1) She was the only “shadow” who could speak
(2) Is it possible that real she was dancing and her “shadow” who lived a normal life was just repeating after the real herself?
Why do you describe the whole movie in such details? The video is called “ending explained” so most people who view your video already saw the movie.
This movie sucked tbh. Plot made no sense to me. I get the symbolism but it just didnt add up in the end
Wack
i thought the kids name was jason??
First and foremost in the movie at the very beginning they point-blank tell us that all the underground tunnels are connected so the twin would be able to travel through the tunnels to get to wherever their person was going
No this shit mean get out us . I belive the clone us foreal when they get our placentas
How is 15 minutes almost an hour
You gotta feel bad for you know the REAL Adelaide
Believe it or not my uncles friends made this movie
I feel like the clone goes where she goes, but the beach\ mirror place is the only way in or out or something
7:55 IT’S JASON NOT JORDAN
This movie sucked and Peele is just a "woke person's"... "Genius talented" alphabet person. All bs aside this movie was as entertaining as watching a tree grow.
What's the significance of the rabbits? It's got to be more than just eating them.. I feel like there's some other significance or symbolism beyond food for the clones
Yes those are both great!
or “down the rabbit hole” 🐇
Rabbits symbolize rebirth.
The scissors are also from ancient Egypt most modern day layman believe that the Egyptians were just like all Africans with super dark skin and with African American features but that's not the case, evidence shows that Ancient Egyptians were mostly lighter skinned much more like India's people or Turkish people and had European facial features.
That's not a werewolf mask that's a Chewbacca mask from Star Wars.
Dopplegangers are one of the best horror stories we can come up with. It's an amazing movie!
The ending has me messed up. That's still her mom.....but...was it all part of the plan??? I'm so confused
His name is Jason not Jordan stupid
The dad hit his own head on the boat motor causing the clone to let go I believe during the boat on the lake fight scene meaning the dad clues in on the mirroring first. Just rewatched on hbo that’s why this is so late lmao big fan!
Now I see why she was so pissed when the boy in the red backed into the fire.
The son's name is Jason, not Jordan.
I thought he was Jason...?
This movie made no sense at all. It wasn't even scary. Just stupid yuppie urban legend.
This movie was well acted but come on the ending didn’t make any sense
The ending is: The creatures outside looked from pig to woman, and from woman to pig, and from pig to woman
again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
I'm 7 minutes in the vid let me tell YOU they gave us a thing a number. 11 11 think about it. The other family came at 11 11 the girl was wearing 11 clothes before she got taken she probably got taken at 11 11 think.
So that's why she could talk and everyone else only made grunt sounds lol if ever a movie I needed the ending explained this is it for sure
Great twist but why the fuck wouldn't she mention "you took my life" when they sat down and she talked for like 10 min how horrible her life was
Pluto is the real Jason he was burnt a yr prior by his magic trick n switched which was y Pluto was showing him how to do the trick in the closet n got scared wen it actually worked n cried wen stuck in closet (didn't this happen a yr ago)plus Pluto never tried to kill anyone but Jason killed Pluto...Jason didn't scream wen he was taken hostage.... After getting out the closet his mother did they can't hurt u n things going back to how they were b4 hmm
#Cartunez👽 posted on my channel #TRUthHERts be brutally honest 🔥🔥or 💩💩
@Molly Jones exactly it's alot that we overlooked that smile Pluto gave to Jason while they were in the car eerie yet normal no weird ticks and Pluto was snapping on beat which Jason can't seem to do
Actually you could be on to something. I just realized Pluto is the ONLY one with any kind of modern medical apparatus. Abraham needs vision correction yet he has no eye glasses. Red needed a c section yet she never got one and had to do it herself
PLUTO HAS ONE OF THOSE BURN TREATMENT WRAP MASKS!!!!!
How did he get this when all the others were deprived.
Does he have it because he was switched after he returned to his "real" family from the burn center?
I’m waitin for you doppelgänger, imma go take a nap in the tunnels for the rest of my life I’m tired 😴
I literally predicted the end from the beginning. Kinda obvious, quite the letdown.
I think we all did. The "twist" doesn't matter tho. It's the journey, the storytelling and the symbolism.
The “family” was so god damn hard to believe. They acted like complete strangers. So the wife doesn’t tell the husband about her massively traumatic and life changing event until after they’ve been married 15 years and have 2 kids? Lol it was all pretty sloppy in my opinion. Get Out was 1000 times better.
She kept it a secret because she kidnapped her tether and stole her life. If you killed someone (real world equivalent) and assumed their identity, would you tell your significant other?
So if they couldn't get the soul right in the clones, Adelaide does not really have the same emotions as humans. To me, she very much reminds me of a sociopath. Especially with what happened when they were children. It was a purely selfish act, she didn't care that she would be stealing Red's life.
Here's my video on Us: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pn0DCoOTo4c&feature=youtu.be
The scissors symbolize a double blade
The red outfits symbolize something beyond what Michael Jackson’s red.
There are also lots of blues in the film of the regular people.
"how it must have been, to grow up with a sky. To feel the sun, the wind, the trees"
If she was 14 when they switched, she must have known how this felt.
"I never stopped thinking about you, how things could have been, how you could have taken me with you"
I'd be more concerned about not being kidnapped and chained to a bed then 'being taken with her'
I might be missing something, but these seem to contradict the whole 'swap' twist
Your second point has to do with the underlying theme of the movie. Adelaide had to steal Red's place because they couldn't both leave the house of mirrors and live in harmony above ground. The movie is commenting on society. Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world where it wasn't a fight for survival? Where those in upper classes could reach out to those in lower classes and pull them up with them? Someone has to be poor in order for someone to be rich.
She was not 14 when they switched, she was like 6; 8 at the most. Nevertheless, she knew what it was like to live above ground and it was taken away from her. Her life below ground was even more miserable than the others because they didn't know any better. Ignorance is bliss.
I would do a podcast on Jordan Peele’s Us
This movie started so nice. Everything else was stupid and dumb and had no logic
When people travel across America they use vehicles. The doppelgangers dont have cars so they couldnt travel to where their counterparts went. Notice the doppelgangers that were mimicking the people on the rollercoaster. They stood in place. The same thing would happen with vehicles, plains, trains etc.
What about water they can’t just survive on rabbits
Can you please do I KNOW WHO KILLED ME. I would love to see someone try to make sense of it
Now I be thinking I have a clone underground moving exactly like me
I speak for all the hood ppl in they house flipping candy barz
Get Out
