1st of all that redhead is miss negative Nancy all the time. And 2nd that is not American popcorn. Only the kettle and the Carmel corn could I give a little credit to. But we normally like salted buttered popcorn.

THAT isn't what I'd call real American popcorn. REAL American popcorn is fresh popped, buttery and salted - to me, anyway. I know there are many varieties, but that is where they all started.

I once saw kettle corn being made at Knott's Berry Farm in California. I had never heard or seen it. It was being made in a big round deep bottomed kettle big enough to take a bath in. My nephews wanted some so I bought some fresh off the kettle. I tried some and then stole the bag from them. It was made with a bit of salt and then a dose of sugar just before coming out of the kettle.
