for people have technical knowledge about bars: have they changed the scoring on bars because simone got 14.966 whereas in 2008, Nastia almost got a 17 and the other girls were all 15s and a few 16s

My mom once told me that she always wanted to do gymnastics when she was younger, but her parent didn’t wanted because it was a “dirty” sport and the girls dressed in a inappropriate way.

@Mylesa Stinnette First, the channel is about the Olympics in general. So it's not just for the US people. I know Simone and Aly were the champions, but even Mustafina, who won the bronze and was one of the biggest names in the sport, didn't show up as much. That is my questioning.
I love girls, but we have to be fair to all the others who work the same way.

These announcers are so much more palatable than the nonsensical man that color commentates for the NBC sports broadcast. Nastia Lieukin is the only part of that commentary team that makes it tolerable. This woman is professional, unbiased, well spoken, and optimistic about every athlete. The NBC team seems to focus on every margin for error and tries to sensationalize every athlete on every rotation.
